I Should Be So Lucky was Kylie's first worldwide single release. While the music video is highly outdated now it is some-what iconic in Kylie's career, including the bath tub scene. There was also a second video made in which Kylie is riding around in a car with the top down. Supposedly when Kylie first arrived at the recording studio to record I Should Be So Lucky, Kylie's new writers and producers, Stock, Aitken and Waterman forgot she was going to show up. They had Kylie wait outside the studio while they wrote the song, and the rest is history.
