Better the Devil You Know was released as the first single from Kylie's third album,
Rhythm of Love. This single is usually viewed as the turning point in Kylie's career, where she changed her image
from the girl next door to a more sexy and glamorous look, this is seen in the video. Kylie debuted Better the Devil You
Know during the Enjoy Yourself Tour, when the song was still unknown to the public. In the long run the single
has become one of Kylie's most famous songs but at the time it failed to reach number one in the UK and became her first lead
single from an album to not reach number one there. In 2007 Kylie performed a new jazz version of Better the Devil You
Know on X Factor's finale with the winner that night, Leon Jackson.
